About CAL
Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) is a leading ICT education provider for children and adult beginners. It offers significant ICT education programs integrated in the basic curricula of pre-school, primary and secondary levels. It also offers online learning that are specifically designed to guide young learners, adult beginners, and professionals in enhancing their productivity with the aid of the current ICT tools.
CAL was established as a computer school in Singapore in 1986. In 1997, it shared its literacy program to schools through its computer integration program (CIP) that has brought its world-class IT education to a greater number of students. Under this program, CAL’s certified computer courses were integrated into the regular curricula of primary and secondary schools. It was 2006 when CAL became a global franchise
It continued to expand its offerings by starting to offer online learning modules. In 2007, CAL became a distributor of Mindleaders – a world leading e-learning provider, of more than 2,000 online learning modules. Now, it is Mindleaders’ sole distributor in Southeast Asia and the Pacific region.
Just this year, CAL introduced its newest offering, Education Technology (EdTech) – an arm that offers learning management system, online grading system and other applications that aid IT learning and instruction.
